Certainty Centre - Gym Membership Terms and Conditions

1. Membership
All memberships at Certainty Centre operate on a rolling monthly basis with no minimum contract term.
Memberships automatically renew each month until cancelled by the member.

2. Cancellation Policy
Members may cancel their membership at any time for any reason without penalty.
No refunds will be given for any payments already made. Once a monthly payment is received, it is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Membership access remains active until the end of the paid month.

3. Member Conduct and Rules
To ensure a positive and respectful environment for all members, the following rules apply:
Members must behave respectfully towards other members, staff, and the premises at all times.
A Three Strike Policy is in place: members who breach rules or behave inappropriately will receive up to three warnings. After the third strike, membership will be terminated without refund.
Members must wipe down all equipment after use with the cleaning products provided.
Only appropriate gym attire is permitted. Workwear, including builder’s gear, office clothing (e.g., suits), or any non-gym-specific clothing is strictly not allowed.
Footwear must be clean, closed-toe, and suitable for gym activities.

4. CCTV & Audio Recording
CCTV with audio recording operates throughout Certainty Centre for safety, security and crime prevention.
Recordings may be reviewed following incidents and shared with relevant authorities where legally required or appropriate.
CCTV and audio recording are not used in toilets, showers or changing areas.

5. Health and Safety
Members use the facilities at their own risk. Certainty Centre is not responsible for injuries sustained while using the equipment or facilities.
Members are encouraged to seek medical advice before beginning any new fitness programme or using gym facilities if they have any underlying health conditions.

6. Liability
Certainty Centre accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings while on the premises.
Members are responsible for ensuring their belongings are stored safely and securely.

7. Changes to Terms
Certainty Centre reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes.

8. Junior Members (Aged 13–16)
Members aged between 13 and 16 must have a parent or legal guardian present at the time of membership signup to complete all necessary paperwork and consents.
Once signed up, junior members are permitted to use the gym independently without parental supervision.
Certainty Centre reserves the right to request proof of age if necessary.
